Help Desk
Help Desk is the central point of contact for all computer, software, and web related questions. We are here to serve students, faculty, and staff.

Support Hours
Del Mar College has partnered with BlackBeltHelp to provide After Hours support for password changes and common Canvas issues.

- 7:30AM – 7:30PM and After Hours
- Friday
- 7:30AM – 3:00PM and After Hours

Services
General
- Use tracking software to describe and maintain the essential documentation of problem on call ticket resolutions.
- Report problems via telephone, email, walk-in or scheduled appointments.
- Assist users using website with updated information during and after hours of operation.
- Provide consulting services for hardware and software quotes, upgrade requirements, and new lab designs.
Student Support
- Assist students with web navigation to course materials.
- Assist students with plug-in problem resolutions.
- Solve the browser's compatibility issues.
- Provide connectivity assistance.
- Get students started with course-related application usage.
- Assist with Del Mar College campus equipment issues.
Wireless Internet for Students
- Wireless access is available for all currently registered students. Students can bring personal laptops to the campus and have access to the internet.
- Connect to Vikingnet wifi network
- Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled student.
- Must have an anti-virus software that is current and up to date.
- Must have all Microsoft Window's critical updates completed.

- Google Chrome - Preferred browser
- Lockdown Browser - Exams and quizzes if required by instructor
